Find the thing you parked.
Put a Whemma-beacon in your car, bike or boat. When you can't remember where you left it, Whemma tells you how far away it is and whether you're getting warmer or colder — until it's in front of you.
How it works
Three steps, then you forget about it.
Hold it against your phone
Whemma spots the beacon you're touching and offers that one — no list of eight identical devices to guess between.
Say what you just tagged
Pick a type — car, van, bicycle, motorboat, sailboat and more — give it a name, and drop the beacon in the object.
Walk it down
Tap Find. The screen turns cold when you walk away and warm when you close in. Under two metres it goes green.
The screen is the answer
Whemma never points. It tells you warmer or colder.
Bluetooth signal can't honestly give a direction, so Whemma doesn't draw an arrow it would have to invent. It makes two claims: roughly how far, and which way you're trending. One colour owns the screen, and that colour is the feedback.
Turn around and the number starts dropping.

In sight
A notification the moment an object comes within about fifteen metres — so you know the bike is in this rack, not the next street.
Left behind
Walk steadily away from something and Whemma says so. It needs four readings in a row getting further, so a wobble in the signal never cries wolf.
Last seen
When an object goes quiet, Whemma still has the spot where it was last heard, with a place name and a hand-off to your maps app.
As many objects as you like
One beacon per object. The car, the trailer, the bakfiets, the boat — all on one list, each with its own status.
Nothing leaves your phone
No account, no server, no analytics. Your objects and their locations are stored on the device and nowhere else.
Honest numbers
Readings are smoothed before you see them, and when the signal genuinely can't tell, Whemma holds its last verdict rather than strobing between warm and cold.

Questions
Before you ask.
- Does it show me which direction to walk?
- No. Bluetooth signal strength can't give a direction, so there's no arrow anywhere in Whemma. You get a rough distance and a warmer-or-colder verdict, which is enough to walk almost anything down.
- What do I need?
- An iPhone or Android phone with Bluetooth, and one Whemma-beacon for every object you want to keep track of.
- How far does it reach?
- Whemma calls an object "in sight" from about fifteen metres and "found" under two. In the open you'll often pick a beacon up further out; through cars, walls and water, less.
- Is it a tracker?
- No. There's no network behind a Whemma-beacon: only your own phone, within Bluetooth range, hears it. It finds the thing you parked — it won't find a stolen one on the other side of the country.
- Can I use beacons I already have?
- If they're iBeacons on Whemma's proximity UUID, yes. Whemma-beacons come flashed and ready, which is the point of buying them here.
